Shop with Sprive
With interest rates rising more people are looking to save money on their mortgages. However, with the cost of living crisis, not everyone has the extra cash to pay off their mortgage faster. With the launch of our new feature, this is about to change.
Imagine a world where you’re doing your everyday shopping and as you spend using the Sprive app, you’re getting extra money that helps you save interest and become mortgage free, faster. Well, that’s now become a reality with Sprive!
How this feature helps homeowners?
Get one step closer to becoming mortgage free and save interest every time you do your regular shopping with the Sprive app. We don’t want to encourage people to spend more than they would otherwise. That’s why we’ve focused on partnering with brands that our customers are likely to use on a regular basis.
By doing your regular shopping with the Sprive app, could result in you earning an extra £25 towards your mortgage each month. You’ll be amazed, at the impact this extra cash can have. For example, a £250,000 mortgage at 4% for 30 years would save you £7,969 and help you pay off your mortgage 1 year and 1 month earlier.
How does it work?
Simply click on the rewards tab to become familiar with the brands we have partnered with. With each brand when you click on the offer you can see the % reward on offer and whether the offer is available in-store, online, or both.
When you’ve done your normal shopping at the brand, simply select the brand and enter the value of your basket prior to checkout. Upon entering the amount, it will show you the amount that will be credited to your Sprive account once you’ve paid for the shop via Sprive. To pay for the shop simply hit ‘pay now’ and authorise the transfer via your banking app. Upon successful payment, you will be presented with a voucher which can use to scan and pay for the shop in full. Sprive will then credit you the reward to your Sprive account within a couple of hours. As usual with one tap, you can then pay the funds to your lender.

We’ve been speaking to major brands to see how we can work together to help you combat rising prices and mortgage rates going up. Whilst we’ll add more brands over time, we’re launching with 28 brands that I’m sure you’ll recognise.
